A very refreshing sequel

A very refreshing sequel I LOVED Big Rock, so of course I highly enjoyed this continuation of that sexy adventure too. Not only because I LOVED all the cameos of Spencer and Charlotte from Big Rock and seeing their relationship continue, but I also enjoyed the chemistry between Nick and Harper in their fresh new adventure of love and self-discovery. This sequal was original, with an entirely different relationship and a completely different plot, but the same fiery passion that you fell in love with in Big Rock. Nick and Harper will have you laughing, crying, and moaning with them as they explore each other, in and outside of the bedroom. I LOVED Mister O, and I hope to see more of Mr. and Mrs. Orgasm (and Holiday) in the next book, Well Hung…

Mister O is a hoot!

I liked Mister O about the same as Big Rock, maybe just a tad less. The storyline was good, but also somewhat similar to Big Rock. I enjoyed Nick and his show, that was interesting and entertaining. Harper is funny as well. She's her own person and has many quirks that make her unique. I love that she owns her quirks and doesn't change them, and that Nick doesn't change them, but loves them and understands that's what makes Harper who she is. I also find it funny that she's a magician, that's definitely unique. They go on quite a journey throughout this book, but it's a good and cute one. I don't think I've read a romance book where it's just from the guy's perspective so these two books have been different for me. They're hilarious guys so it's a hoot being in their heads.

Mr. O had me lol

Lauren never disappoints me. From sexy to funny to everything in between her writing always has me hooked from beginning to end. This book was no exception, I loved the fact that Harper wanted to learn from Mr. O. Now Mr. O is a comic book character but of course Nick the writer is Mr. O himself and when his friend little sister wants to know everything there is to know about sex, well can he really denied her. This two are a match made in heaven, they are funny, sarcastic and sexy. I love this book and the shenanigans that this two go thru. A most read Romantic comedy!! 5 starts

Where do I sign up for lessons like the ones Nick teaches Harper? I mean, I'm married but... I absolutely loved this brother's best friend romance. As expected from Lauren there was a ton of heat and sexiness but there was also that sweetness and romance she always manages to include. I'm not gonna lie, I'm sort of over the never-ending sex in books lately and with a title like Mister O(rgasm) it'd be easy to assume that there would be an abundance of sex, but I'm happy to report that there was just the perfect amount of it in this story. There was, however, an abundance of sexual tension that had me wiggling in my seat and waiting for the ball to drop. I love sexual tension more than sex sometimes. It's my thing. Nick is sweet, smart, sexy and...ahem, talented. I love that this book was totally in his POV because it made the story that much more fun because I spent a lot of time wondering what was going on in Harper's mind and it gave yet another level of anxious anticipation to the story. This book is a perfect example of why I fell in love with Lauren Blakely's writing in the first place and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Wyatt and Simon!!

There is nothing I love more than a sexy nerd and Nick Hammer is THE sexy nerd. Tall, sexy, smart and a master at giving women pleasure. In his younger high school days, Nick spent all his time drawing cartoons so it is no surprise that he now makes a living drawing the cartoon The Adventures of Mister Orgasm, which has also spun into a TV show. Instead of ever having a serious relationship, Nick just enjoys one-night stands. The only women who has ever made him wonder about a real relationship is Harper Holiday, his best friend, Spencer's little sister. Everyone knows that a best friend's little sister is a big, fat NO, but what is a guy to do when Harper asks Nick for help in the relationship department. Harper with her red hair and blue eyes just draws Nick in. He also loves that this quirky lovable girl is a magician. Spencer and Charlotte get married and leave for their honeymoon leaving Nick and Harper able to work on her relationship issues. This story told in Nick's point of view was great. I just love the humor of a sexy guy. These two characters have such great chemistry together. The are both funny, sexy and quirky. I really enjoyed the path these two had to take to get to their happy ending. If you are looking for a fun, sexy story, I highly recommend this one!

Desire. Lust. Comes to mind with super hot story following Nick Hammer aka Professor Hammer aka Mister O. I'm sure there are plenty of names someone can come up with. Nick.. Is well.. Sexy. I'd give him that and he knows what he's doing. He's successful with his raunchy cartoon. But then there's the magic that resides off Harper aka Spencer's little sister aka don't touch her or your hairs gone. Harper just needs a little more education on sex. And hello? Professor Nick is happy to help and maybe feels a smidge of guilt for about 5 seconds. "Sex is my classroom, but love is a language I barely understand." I loved these two. Great bk 2 (just as good as 1st book!)

This can be read as a stand a lone or you can read bk 1 with Nick Hammer's aka, MR "O his best friend, Spencer asking his business partner and best girl "friend" to act as his "fiancé" to help his father sell his Jewlery business to a conservative business family.. And Spencer was quite the 'playboy!' And nobody knew him better than Charlotte and Nick.. So if you really want to get the game players in this book and truly understand how Harper and Nick's passion and hidden feelings were so closed off, I would suggest reading bk 1... So, MR O... This book was GREAT!! I Sooo LOVED both H/h Nick and Harper are soo fabulous! They both are corky and kind of nerds, yet in such a cute way!! Harper has had a thing for Nick (her big bro bff for along time) and Nick came out of his shell after HS and began dating older women to make it big on a very successful tv show 'how to please women' lol Yet in book one, he truly saw "Harper" (he always thought of her as cute and Spencer's little sister... But something happened and he truly saw her for the first time and something 'snapped!!!' So in this hilarious book, our h asks the H to help her talk to guys.. (Did I mention, she is a bit 'corky?' She doesn't really know what to say or act around them.. ) so he agrees to help her.. O' and how "MR 'O" does help Harper,.... What is to be a week, (while his BFF, Spencer is on his honeymoon.) Mister O by Lauren Blakely is the stand-alone follow up to Big Rock. Both books can absolutely be enjoyed by themselves, but, I'm a stickler for order so thats how I read them. Mister O is the story of Nick Hammer, nerdy cartoonist with a hit prime time animated series and Harper Holiday, magician. Yes, a cartoonist and a magician. intrigued already right? Nick and Harper are friends in their own right but Nick is Best Friends with Spencer, Harper's brother. Oooh, you say, best friends sister romance? Yeah! Smokin' hawt!!!!! Harper is bit of a nerd herself. Totally comfortable on stage performing her magic, she bumbles and slurs anytime there is a man around shes attracted to. Nick has had Harper on constant play in his spank-bank ever since they day they tricked her brother into thinking they were together as a favor for Harper and some evil, sister-payback plan. The memory of her hands all over his arms **steam**. So despite their great friendship, he knows she's off limits, except, she asks him to show her how to woo a man. She wants to date but doesn't have much opportunity to meet guys, and when she does, she can barely speak one intelligible word. Nick jumps on board and the games begin. Lauren Blakely infuses this book with so much wonderful wit, banter and nerdy quirkiness - it was awesome. I loved every single letter. HIGHLY recommend this and also read Big Rock first.

A Review of Mister O by Lauren Blakely Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday - 5++++ stars This book was not exactly what I was expecting, but man did I LOVE it. Nick is a man who loves to draw cartoons and giving women the best orgasms he can. He believes he is a student and master of the art of orgasms, considering himself a superhero of pleasure, with a mission to dispense as many orgasms as possible to his lovers. When we first meet Harper, she shows up to Nick's book signing, where she is waiting to get his book signed for one of her clients. We quickly learn that she is the younger sister of his best friend and they seem to hang out together quite a bit. She comes to his rescue when one of his fans tries to put the moves on him after taking her wedding ring off. I absolutely love Harpers snarky attitude and personality and I think she would be such a hoot to hang out with. When Harper asks Nick to teach her how to snag a man, he is thrown for a loop, since he knows that he is supposed to keep his hands off of her, unless he wants to get killed by her brother. This storyline has it all - shyness, cockiness, magic (she is a magician after all), and lots of hot, sticky, delicious sex. Hello Mister O!

Ever since we’ve gotten a glimpse of Harper and Nick together in Big Rock, I was hoping for a story with the two. Well we get our answer in Mister O. Lauren knows how to write a feel-good, sweet romance. The story is told from the POV of Nick. I love reading a guy’s POV so I was very excited for this book. Nick and Harper have known each other for a very long time. Nick is Spencer’s best friend and Harper is Spencer’s little sister. After they decided to play a prank on Spencer (seen in Big Rock), Nick’s feelings have grown from friend to something more. Well when Harper approaches Nick with a proposition, he figures this would work out great. But of course, it could never be that easy. This is where it really gets good. I enjoyed seeing how everything was with them. Harper and Nick are so great together. Their banter, interactions, and friendship were awesome. I liked seeing their relationship grow throughout the book. There really wasn’t any drama which was great. Sometimes it’s nice to get a break from all the angst and read a feel-good story. Mister O is a flirty, sweet, and sexy story. The storyline is great, the characters are wonderful, and you will definitely be smiling, laughing, and fanning yourself throughout. Friends-to-lovers stories are my favorite and I very much enjoyed this book. Though this can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading Big Rock. It is just as great. If you love a happy romance story then this is the book for you. Lauren is amazing :)

Blakely has done it again! She has told us an amazing story of two fantastic characters. Nick and Harper have electric chemistry. Nick is the kind of guy most women want. He's funny, loyal and HAWT! Mister O, is the standalone story of Nick Hammer, best friend of Spencer, from Big Rock, the recent, best-selling, delightful romantic comedy by Ms. Blakely. In this new, charming story, Nick, a successful cartoonist, creator of a hit TV show and books about The Adventures of Mister Orgasm, and self-proclaimed “superhero of pleasure,” falls for his best friend’s sister, the very off-limits Harper. Ms. Blakely delivers another humorous read with Mr. O. I think my favorite laugh-out-loud moment is when Ms. Blakely pokes fun at herself, “Am I supposed to pretend it’s a date?” Harper asks, “Like Spencer and Charlotte pretended?”…”No, that would be lame if we did the same thing,” [Nick] says…”That would be like if a romance writer used the same trope in the very next novel.” This is pretty close to what Ms. Blakely cleverly does in this storyline. Yet, she makes it work. Nick and Harper work. They are likable and adorable, with super, hot chemistry that sizzles off the pages of this quick, light, and engaging read.

I have yet to read a book by Lauren Blakely that I do not absolutely love. Mister O is no exception. This book is sexy, sweet, funny and hot, hot, hot! It is told from Nick's point of view which I loved. We first met Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday in Big Rock. I knew then that this was a book I did not want to miss. Nick is one panty-melting, heart-stopping man. Nick Hammer is Mister O. He has made himself a success as the creator of the animated show, The Adventures of Mister Orgasm. This extremely gorgeous, funny, hot nerd has it all. That is why his best friend's sister, Harper, wants him to help her learn how to be comfortable around a man. These two are actually two peas in a pod who are so compatible that it is almost unbelievable. You will love the slow build to this incredible relationship that has been building for longer than either of them realize. You will love how Nick visualizes and deals with his feeling for Harper. Harper is quite the feisty, sexy and sassy woman that keeps him on his toes. I love this book! You will just feel good after reading it! Most definitely a five-star read for me.

Adored this book and all its quirkiness! Lauren never fails to entertain with her books. Nick and Harper start off with a solid friendship with some underlying feelings that continue to cause them to question themselves. I love how their friendship continued to grow throughout the book and the realizations they came to getting to know one another better. ...and the 'O's'??? I'm going to make a BOLD statement right now. You ready? Nick Hammer may be my FAVORITE Blakely Boy. Ever. (Please don't tell Trey, my book husband!) That's right, people. Nick Hammer is the perfect hero! Sweet, sexy, dirty, funny, sexy, artistic, charismatic, dirty, hot, and sexy. All that wrapped up in a black satin ribbon, scruffy beard, and perfect run-your-fingers-through-it hair. And I haven't even gotten into the nitty gritty of his chiseled and should-be-displayed-in-a-museum body. *sigh* Nick Hammer. Harper Holiday. Blakely has a way of writing the best heroines. Each one different than the previous. Witty and fierce, bold and strong, Harper complements Nick in so many ways. This story was beauty on paper (or technically, visual technology since it was on my phone). Blakely takes the classic friends to lovers storyline and adds a new spin, turning it into something unique and fun with plenty of laugh out loud moments and down and dirty sexy-times scenes. My heart fluttered, my breath caught, and my panties smoked as I embarked on Nick and Harper's journey. It was as wonderful ride, and I didn't want it to ever end!! Lauren Blakely's best book yet! Mister O is one of those books that once you start, it's impossible to put down. No dishes, no laundry, no dinner, just this fabulous, funny, and flirtatious glimpse into the single life of Nick, the cartoonist with a million fans of his TV show Mister Orgasm. This book reminds me of the young adult stories Lauren used to write early in her career and I'm so happy to see them return. I love a character driven storyline because I have to be invested in the characters in order to really love a book and I fell in love with Nick from the very first page. And while he was teaching his best friends' sister the art of flirtation, it was oh-so-glorious to be in his head and in his bed as he gives her lessons in seduction. Sexy, steamy and sinfully intimate, with emotions that reminded me of the first time I fell in love, Nick and Harper will stay with you long after you finish their story and isn't that what a really good book is all about? And one thing is for sure, no one but Lauren Blakely could dream up scrumptious character names like Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday! Sexy and Hollarious

Mr. O by Lauren Blakely is a standalone romance center around Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday. This book is unique for me because it is being told from the male perspective, most romances show both sides with the heroine being the main point of view. Lauren has switched this up by having a “hero” being the main point of view. I have not had the pleasure of reading Big Rock yet so this was new to me. The romance was very fun to read. Harper and Nick appear to be very fun individuals on their own but when you bring them together they are absolutely hilarious. The banter between the two of them made for interesting reading. The premise of the book is Harper asks Nick to teach her how to date; not be awkward toward men she likes and ultimately how to please a man. We follow Nick as he is trying to figure out how to push his feelings for Harper away and not ruin his friendship with Spencer (Harper’s brother). When Harper asks Nick to help her with dating he can’t believe his luck. As “luck” has it Spencer gets married and will be on his honeymoon for a week which allows them to be together without fear of being caught. As the week starts out Nick can’t believe his luck he finally gets to be with the one person who has consumed his thoughts for months. As the dating lessons start the banter continues you start to see the chemistry they have. When the relationship turns physical you can see Nick start to change and become totally focused on Harper Harper has been a fixture in Nick’s life since high school and she has been there to help him out of many situations as his wingman. Nick is a naughty cartoonist with a late night tv show and Harper a Magician who performs for private parties mainly for children. So they both have many things in common including their love of their work and they find they want the basic same things out of their lives. As the week moves on and Nick’s feelings for Harper grow deeper and dreading the end of the week when their agreement ends. He struggles to understand if Harper has the same feelings. He believes she does but he is not certain. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a refreshing read. The amount of feelings and chemistry the characters have was nice for a change of pace. Lauren has again delivered the right balance of fun, romance and sex. PLEASE READ

Super Fun and Sexy!!!

Oh, Mister O......I couldn't seem to get enough!!! Lauren Blakely once again hit a homerun with this book. We first got a glimpse of Nick and Harper's interactions in Big Rock. In Mister O, we get it all and boy is it delicious! Nick and Harper have insane chemistry and their witty banter is very entertaining. Blakely gives her readers some truly LOL moments, creating a story that is not only funny but deeply satisfying. This is a friends-to-lovers romance that also falls into the forbidden romance category since Harper's brother Spencer is Nick's best friend. He's been warned about staying away from her but nothing can keep these two apart. Under the guise of needing dating advice, Harper and Nick start spending more and more time together. It's not long before the heat is turned up and these two begin burning up the sheets. As with all of Blakely's stories, Mister O is insanely panty-melting hot! Told from Nick's POV, we see him struggle with his feelings, wondering if Harper feels the same. Will they fall in love? Do they both feel the same? Will Spencer find out about their "arrangement" and if so, how will he handle it? Readers will be rewarded with answers to all of these questions and more by the end of the book. Mister O is wildly fun and sexy and will leave you with a big smile on your face. This book is 5 stars all the way. Lauren Blakely truly can do no wrong! A very refreshing sequel I LOVED Big Rock, so of course I highly enjoyed this continuation of that sexy adventure too. Not only because I LOVED all the cameos of Spencer and Charlotte from Big Rock and seeing their relationship continue, but I also enjoyed the chemistry between Nick and Harper in their fresh new adventure of love and self-discovery. This sequal was original, with an entirely different relationship and a completely different plot, but the same fiery passion that you fell in love with in Big Rock. Nick and Harper will have you laughing, crying, and moaning with them as they explore each other, in and outside of the bedroom. I LOVED Mister O, and I hope to see more of Mr. and Mrs. Orgasm (and Holiday) in the next book, Well Hung…

Mister O is a hoot!

I liked Mister O about the same as Big Rock, maybe just a tad less. The storyline was good, but also somewhat similar to Big Rock. I enjoyed Nick and his show, that was interesting and entertaining. Harper is funny as well. She's her own person and has many quirks that make her unique. I love that she owns her quirks and doesn't change them, and that Nick doesn't change them, but loves them and understands that's what makes Harper who she is. I also find it funny that she's a magician, that's definitely unique. They go on quite a journey throughout this book, but it's a good and cute one. I don't think I've read a romance book where it's just from the guy's perspective so these two books have been different for me. They're hilarious guys so it's a hoot being in their heads.

This book was no exception, I loved the fact that Harper wanted to learn from Mr. O. Now Mr. O is a comic book character but of course Nick the writer is Mr. O himself and when his friend little sister wants to know everything there is to know about sex, well can he really denied her. Where do I sign up for lessons like the ones Nick teaches Harper? I mean, I'm married but... I absolutely loved this brother's best friend romance. As expected from Lauren there was a ton of heat and sexiness but there was also that sweetness and romance she always manages to include. I'm not gonna lie, I'm sort of over the never-ending sex in books lately and with a title like Mister O(rgasm) it'd be easy to assume that there would be an abundance of sex, but I'm happy to report that there was just the perfect amount of it in this story. There was, however, an abundance of sexual tension that had me wiggling in my seat and waiting for the ball to drop. I love sexual tension more than sex sometimes. It's my thing. Nick is sweet, smart, sexy and...ahem, talented. I love that this book was totally in his POV because it made the story that much more fun because I spent a lot of time wondering what was going on in Harper's mind and it gave yet another level of anxious anticipation to the story. This book is a perfect example of why I fell in love with Lauren Blakely's writing in the first place and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Wyatt and Simon!!

Everyone knows that a best friend's little sister is a big, fat NO, but what is a guy to do when Harper asks Nick for help in the relationship department. Harper with her red hair and blue eyes just draws Nick in. He also loves that this quirky lovable girl is a magician. Spencer and Charlotte get married and leave for their honeymoon leaving Nick and Harper able to work on her relationship issues. This story told in Nick's point of view was great. I just love the humor of a sexy guy. These two characters have such great chemistry together. The are both funny, sexy and quirky. I really enjoyed the path these two had to take to get to their happy ending. If you are looking for a fun, sexy story, I highly recommend this one!

Great bk 2 (just as good as 1st book!)

This can be read as a stand a lone or you can read bk 1 with Nick Hammer's aka, MR "O his best friend, Spencer asking his business partner and best girl "friend" to act as his "fiancé" to help his father sell his Jewlery business to a conservative business family.. And Spencer was quite the 'playboy!' And nobody knew him better than Charlotte and Nick.. So if you really want to get the game players in this book and truly understand how Harper and Nick's passion and hidden feelings were so closed off, I would suggest reading bk 1... So, MR O... This book was GREAT!! I Sooo LOVED both H/h Nick and Harper are soo fabulous! They both are corky and kind of nerds, yet in such a cute way!! Harper has had a thing for Nick (her big bro bff for along time) and Nick came out of his shell after HS and began dating older women to make it big on a very successful tv show 'how to please women' lol Yet in book one, he truly saw "Harper" (he always thought of her as cute and Spencer's little sister... But something happened and he truly saw her for the first time and something 'snapped!!!' So in this hilarious book, our h asks the H to help her talk to guys.. (Did I mention, she is a bit 'corky?' She doesn't really know what to say or act around them.. ) so he agrees to help her.. O' and how "MR 'O" does help Harper,.... What is to be a week, (while his BFF, Spencer is on his honeymoon.) Mister O by Lauren Blakely is the stand-alone follow up to Big Rock. Both books can absolutely be enjoyed by themselves, but, I'm a stickler for order so thats how I read them. Mister O is the story of Nick Hammer, nerdy cartoonist with a hit prime time animated series and Harper Holiday, magician. Yes, a cartoonist and a magician. intrigued already right? Nick and Harper are friends in their own right but Nick is Best Friends with Spencer, Harper's brother. Oooh, you say, best friends sister romance? Yeah! Smokin' hawt!!!!! Harper is bit of a nerd herself. Totally comfortable on stage performing her magic, she bumbles and slurs anytime there is a man around shes attracted to. Nick has had Harper on constant play in his spank-bank ever since they day they tricked her brother into thinking they were together as a favor for Harper and some evil, sister-payback plan. The memory of her hands all over his arms **steam**. So despite their great friendship, he knows she's off limits, except, she asks him to show her how to woo a man. She wants to date but doesn't have much opportunity to meet guys, and when she does, she can barely speak one intelligible word. Nick jumps on board and the games begin. Lauren Blakely infuses this book with so much wonderful wit, banter and nerdy quirkiness - it was awesome. I loved every single letter. HIGHLY recommend this and also read Big Rock first.

A Review of Mister O by Lauren Blakely Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday - 5++++ stars This book was not exactly what I was expecting, but man did I LOVE it. Nick is a man who loves to draw cartoons and giving women the best orgasms he can. He believes he is a student and master of the art of orgasms, considering himself a superhero of pleasure, with a mission to dispense as many orgasms as possible to his lovers. When we first meet Harper, she shows up to Nick's book signing, where she is waiting to get his book signed for one of her clients. I absolutely love Harpers snarky attitude and personality and I think she would be such a hoot to hang out with. This storyline has it all - shyness, cockiness, magic (she is a magician after all), and lots of hot, sticky, delicious sex. Ever since we’ve gotten a glimpse of Harper and Nick together in Big Rock, I was hoping for a story with the two. Well we get our answer in Mister O. Lauren knows how to write a feel-good, sweet romance. The story is told from the POV of Nick. I love reading a guy’s POV so I was very excited for this book. Nick and Harper have known each other for a very long time. Nick is Spencer’s best friend and Harper is Spencer’s little sister. After they decided to play a prank on Spencer (seen in Big Rock), Nick’s feelings have grown from friend to something more. Well when Harper approaches Nick with a proposition, he figures this would work out great. But of course, it could never be that easy. This is where it really gets good. I enjoyed seeing how everything was with them. Harper and Nick are so great together. Their banter, interactions, and friendship were awesome. I liked seeing their relationship grow throughout the book. There really wasn’t any drama which was great. Sometimes it’s nice to get a break from all the angst and read a feel-good story. Mister O is a flirty, sweet, and sexy story. The storyline is great, the characters are wonderful, and you will definitely be smiling, laughing, and fanning yourself throughout. Friends-to-lovers stories are my favorite and I very much enjoyed this book. Though this can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading Big Rock. It is just as great. If you love a happy romance story then this is the book for you. Lauren is amazing :)

In this new, charming story, Nick, a successful cartoonist, creator of a hit TV show and books about The Adventures of Mister Orgasm, and self-proclaimed “superhero of pleasure,” falls for his best friend’s sister, the very off-limits Harper. Ms. Blakely delivers another humorous read with Mr. O. I think my favorite laugh-out-loud moment is when Ms. Blakely pokes fun at herself, “Am I supposed to pretend it’s a date?” Harper asks, “Like Spencer and Charlotte pretended?”…”No, that would be lame if we did the same thing,” [Nick] says…”That would be like if a romance writer used the same trope in the very next novel.” This is pretty close to what Ms. Blakely cleverly does in this storyline. Yet, she makes it work. Nick and Harper work. They are likable and adorable, with super, hot chemistry that sizzles off the pages of this quick, light, and engaging read.

Nick is one panty-melting, heart-stopping man. Nick Hammer is Mister O. He has made himself a success as the creator of the animated show, The Adventures of Mister Orgasm. This extremely gorgeous, funny, hot nerd has it all. That is why his best friend's sister, Harper, wants him to help her learn how to be comfortable around a man. These two are actually two peas in a pod who are so compatible that it is almost unbelievable. You will love the slow build to this incredible relationship that has been building for longer than either of them realize. You will love how Nick visualizes and deals with his feeling for Harper. Harper is quite the feisty, sexy and sassy woman that keeps him on his toes. I love this book! You will just feel good after reading it! Most definitely a five-star read for me.

Sexy and Hollarious

Mr. O by Lauren Blakely is a standalone romance center around Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday. This book is unique for me because it is being told from the male perspective, most romances show both sides with the heroine being the main point of view. Lauren has switched this up by having a “hero” being the main point of view. I have not had the pleasure of reading Big Rock yet so this was new to me. The romance was very fun to read. Harper and Nick appear to be very fun individuals on their own but when you bring them together they are absolutely hilarious. The banter between the two of them made for interesting reading. The premise of the book is Harper asks Nick to teach her how to date; not be awkward toward men she likes and ultimately how to please a man. We follow Nick as he is trying to figure out how to push his feelings for Harper away and not ruin his friendship with Spencer (Harper’s brother). When Harper asks Nick to help her with dating he can’t believe his luck. As “luck” has it Spencer gets married and will be on his honeymoon for a week which allows them to be together without fear of being caught. As the week starts out Nick can’t believe his luck he finally gets to be with the one person who has consumed his thoughts for months. As the dating lessons start the banter continues you start to see the chemistry they have. When the relationship turns physical you can see Nick start to change and become totally focused on Harper Harper has been a fixture in Nick’s life since high school and she has been there to help him out of many situations as his wingman. Nick is a naughty cartoonist with a late night tv show and Harper a Magician who performs for private parties mainly for children. So they both have many things in common including their love of their work and they find they want the basic same things out of their lives. As the week moves on and Nick’s feelings for Harper grow deeper and dreading the end of the week when their agreement ends. He struggles to understand if Harper has the same feelings. He believes she does but he is not certain. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a refreshing read. The amount of feelings and chemistry the characters have was nice for a change of pace. Lauren has again delivered the right balance of fun, romance and sex. PLEASE READ

Oh, Mister O......I couldn't seem to get enough!!! Lauren Blakely once again hit a homerun with this book. We first got a glimpse of Nick and Harper's interactions in Big Rock. In Mister O, we get it all and boy is it delicious! Nick and Harper have insane chemistry and their witty banter is very entertaining. Blakely gives her readers some truly LOL moments, creating a story that is not only funny but deeply satisfying. This is a friends-to-lovers romance that also falls into the forbidden romance category since Harper's brother Spencer is Nick's best friend. He's been warned about staying away from her but nothing can keep these two apart. Under the guise of needing dating advice, Harper and Nick start spending more and more time together. It's not long before the heat is turned up and these two begin burning up the sheets. As with all of Blakely's stories, Mister O is insanely panty-melting hot! Told from Nick's POV, we see him struggle with his feelings, wondering if Harper feels the same. Will they fall in love? Do they both feel the same? Will Spencer find out about their "arrangement" and if so, how will he handle it? Readers will be rewarded with answers to all of these questions and more by the end of the book. Mister O is wildly fun and sexy and will leave you with a big smile on your face. This book is 5 stars all the way. Lauren Blakely truly can do no wrong! A very refreshing sequel

A very refreshing sequel I LOVED Big Rock, so of course I highly enjoyed this continuation of that sexy adventure too. Not only because I LOVED all the cameos of Spencer and Charlotte from Big Rock and seeing their relationship continue, but I also enjoyed the chemistry between Nick and Harper in their fresh new adventure of love and self-discovery. This sequal was original, with an entirely different relationship and a completely different plot, but the same fiery passion that you fell in love with in Big Rock. Nick and Harper will have you laughing, crying, and moaning with them as they explore each other, in and outside of the bedroom. I LOVED Mister O, and I hope to see more of Mr. and Mrs. Orgasm (and Holiday) in the next book, Well Hung…

Mister O is a hoot!

I liked Mister O about the same as Big Rock, maybe just a tad less. The storyline was good, but also somewhat similar to Big Rock. I enjoyed Nick and his show, that was interesting and entertaining. Harper is funny as well. She's her own person and has many quirks that make her unique. I love that she owns her quirks and doesn't change them, and that Nick doesn't change them, but loves them and understands that's what makes Harper who she is. I also find it funny that she's a magician, that's definitely unique. They go on quite a journey throughout this book, but it's a good and cute one. I don't think I've read a romance book where it's just from the guy's perspective so these two books have been different for me. They're hilarious guys so it's a hoot being in their heads.

Lauren never disappoints me. From sexy to funny to everything in between her writing always has me hooked from beginning to end. This book was no exception, I loved the fact that Harper wanted to learn from Mr. O. Now Mr. O is a comic book character but of course Nick the writer is Mr. O himself and when his friend little sister wants to know everything there is to know about sex, well can he really denied her. Where do I sign up for lessons like the ones Nick teaches Harper? I mean, I'm married but... I absolutely loved this brother's best friend romance. As expected from Lauren there was a ton of heat and sexiness but there was also that sweetness and romance she always manages to include. I'm not gonna lie, I'm sort of over the never-ending sex in books lately and with a title like Mister O(rgasm) it'd be easy to assume that there would be an abundance of sex, but I'm happy to report that there was just the perfect amount of it in this story. There was, however, an abundance of sexual tension that had me wiggling in my seat and waiting for the ball to drop. I love sexual tension more than sex sometimes. It's my thing. Nick is sweet, smart, sexy and...ahem, talented. I love that this book was totally in his POV because it made the story that much more fun because I spent a lot of time wondering what was going on in Harper's mind and it gave yet another level of anxious anticipation to the story. This book is a perfect example of why I fell in love with Lauren Blakely's writing in the first place and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Wyatt and Simon!!

Everyone knows that a best friend's little sister is a big, fat NO, but what is a guy to do when Harper asks Nick for help in the relationship department. Harper with her red hair and blue eyes just draws Nick in. He also loves that this quirky lovable girl is a magician. Spencer and Charlotte get married and leave for their honeymoon leaving Nick and Harper able to work on her relationship issues. This story told in Nick's point of view was great. I just love the humor of a sexy guy. These two characters have such great chemistry together. The are both funny, sexy and quirky. I really enjoyed the path these two had to take to get to their happy ending. If you are looking for a fun, sexy story, I highly recommend this one!

Great bk 2 (just as good as 1st book!)

This can be read as a stand a lone or you can read bk 1 with Nick Hammer's aka, MR "O his best friend, Spencer asking his business partner and best girl "friend" to act as his "fiancé" to help his father sell his Jewlery business to a conservative business family.. And Spencer was quite the 'playboy!' And nobody knew him better than Charlotte and Nick.. So if you really want to get the game players in this book and truly understand how Harper and Nick's passion and hidden feelings were so closed off, I would suggest reading bk 1... So, MR O... This book was GREAT!! I Sooo LOVED both H/h Nick and Harper are soo fabulous! They both are corky and kind of nerds, yet in such a cute way!! Harper has had a thing for Nick (her big bro bff for along time) and Nick came out of his shell after HS and began dating older women to make it big on a very successful tv show 'how to please women' lol Yet in book one, he truly saw "Harper" (he always thought of her as cute and Spencer's little sister... But something happened and he truly saw her for the first time and something 'snapped!!!' So in this hilarious book, our h asks the H to help her talk to guys.. (Did I mention, she is a bit 'corky?' She doesn't really know what to say or act around them.. ) so he agrees to help her.. O' and how "MR 'O" does help Harper,.... What is to be a week, (while his BFF, Spencer is on his honeymoon.) Mister O by Lauren Blakely is the stand-alone follow up to Big Rock. Both books can absolutely be enjoyed by themselves, but, I'm a stickler for order so thats how I read them. Mister O is the story of Nick Hammer, nerdy cartoonist with a hit prime time animated series and Harper Holiday, magician. Yes, a cartoonist and a magician. intrigued already right? Nick and Harper are friends in their own right but Nick is Best Friends with Spencer, Harper's brother. Oooh, you say, best friends sister romance? Yeah! Smokin' hawt!!!!! Harper is bit of a nerd herself. Totally comfortable on stage performing her magic, she bumbles and slurs anytime there is a man around shes attracted to. Nick has had Harper on constant play in his spank-bank ever since they day they tricked her brother into thinking they were together as a favor for Harper and some evil, sister-payback plan. The memory of her hands all over his arms **steam**. So despite their great friendship, he knows she's off limits, except, she asks him to show her how to woo a man. She wants to date but doesn't have much opportunity to meet guys, and when she does, she can barely speak one intelligible word. Nick jumps on board and the games begin. Lauren Blakely infuses this book with so much wonderful wit, banter and nerdy quirkiness - it was awesome. I loved every single letter. HIGHLY recommend this and also read Big Rock first.

Nick is a man who loves to draw cartoons and giving women the best orgasms he can. When we first meet Harper, she shows up to Nick's book signing, where she is waiting to get his book signed for one of her clients. Hello Mister O!

Ever since we’ve gotten a glimpse of Harper and Nick together in Big Rock, I was hoping for a story with the two. Well we get our answer in Mister O. Lauren knows how to write a feel-good, sweet romance. The story is told from the POV of Nick. I love reading a guy’s POV so I was very excited for this book. Nick and Harper have known each other for a very long time. Nick is Spencer’s best friend and Harper is Spencer’s little sister. After they decided to play a prank on Spencer (seen in Big Rock), Nick’s feelings have grown from friend to something more. Well when Harper approaches Nick with a proposition, he figures this would work out great. But of course, it could never be that easy. This is where it really gets good. I enjoyed seeing how everything was with them. Harper and Nick are so great together. Their banter, interactions, and friendship were awesome. I liked seeing their relationship grow throughout the book. There really wasn’t any drama which was great. Sometimes it’s nice to get a break from all the angst and read a feel-good story. Mister O is a flirty, sweet, and sexy story. The storyline is great, the characters are wonderful, and you will definitely be smiling, laughing, and fanning yourself throughout. Friends-to-lovers stories are my favorite and I very much enjoyed this book. Though this can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading Big Rock. It is just as great. If you love a happy romance story then this is the book for you. Lauren is amazing :)

I think my favorite laugh-out-loud moment is when Ms. Blakely pokes fun at herself, “Am I supposed to pretend it’s a date?” Harper asks, “Like Spencer and Charlotte pretended?”…”No, that would be lame if we did the same thing,” [Nick] says…”That would be like if a romance writer used the same trope in the very next novel.” This is pretty close to what Ms. Blakely cleverly does in this storyline. Yet, she makes it work. Nick and Harper work. They are likable and adorable, with super, hot chemistry that sizzles off the pages of this quick, light, and engaging read.

Nick is one panty-melting, heart-stopping man. Nick Hammer is Mister O. He has made himself a success as the creator of the animated show, The Adventures of Mister Orgasm. This extremely gorgeous, funny, hot nerd has it all. That is why his best friend's sister, Harper, wants him to help her learn how to be comfortable around a man. These two are actually two peas in a pod who are so compatible that it is almost unbelievable. You will love the slow build to this incredible relationship that has been building for longer than either of them realize. You will love how Nick visualizes and deals with his feeling for Harper. Harper is quite the feisty, sexy and sassy woman that keeps him on his toes. I love this book! You will just feel good after reading it! Most definitely a five-star read for me.

Nick Hammer is the perfect hero! Sweet, sexy, dirty, funny, sexy, artistic, charismatic, dirty, hot, and sexy. All that wrapped up in a black satin ribbon, scruffy beard, and perfect run-your-fingers-through-it hair. And I haven't even gotten into the nitty gritty of his chiseled and should-be-displayed-in-a-museum body. *sigh* Nick Hammer. Harper Holiday. Blakely has a way of writing the best heroines. Each one different than the previous. Witty and fierce, bold and strong, Harper complements Nick in so many ways. This story was beauty on paper (or technically, visual technology since it was on my phone). Blakely takes the classic friends to lovers storyline and adds a new spin, turning it into something unique and fun with plenty of laugh out loud moments and down and dirty sexy-times scenes. My heart fluttered, my breath caught, and my panties smoked as I embarked on Nick and Harper's journey. It was as wonderful ride, and I didn't want it to ever end!! Mister O was more than a 5-star read for me! It was a 10! It was a 100! This book was spectacular in so many ways; a definite Top 5 Read of the year! <3

Orgasmic!

Lauren Blakely's best book yet! Mister O is one of those books that once you start, it's impossible to put down. No dishes, no laundry, no dinner, just this fabulous, funny, and flirtatious glimpse into the single life of Nick, the cartoonist with a million fans of his TV show Mister Orgasm. This book reminds me of the young adult stories Lauren used to write early in her career and I'm so happy to see them return. I love a character driven storyline because I have to be invested in the characters in order to really love a book and I fell in love with Nick from the very first page. And while he was teaching his best friends' sister the art of flirtation, it was oh-so-glorious to be in his head and in his bed as he gives her lessons in seduction. Sexy, steamy and sinfully intimate, with emotions that reminded me of the first time I fell in love, Nick and Harper will stay with you long after you finish their story and isn't that what a really good book is all about? And one thing is for sure, no one but Lauren Blakely could dream up scrumptious character names like Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday! Sexy and Hollarious

Mr. O by Lauren Blakely is a standalone romance center around Nick Hammer and Harper Holiday. This book is unique for me because it is being told from the male perspective, most romances show both sides with the heroine being the main point of view. Lauren has switched this up by having a “hero” being the main point of view. I have not had the pleasure of reading Big Rock yet so this was new to me. The romance was very fun to read. Harper and Nick appear to be very fun individuals on their own but when you bring them together they are absolutely hilarious. The banter between the two of them made for interesting reading. The premise of the book is Harper asks Nick to teach her how to date; not be awkward toward men she likes and ultimately how to please a man. We follow Nick as he is trying to figure out how to push his feelings for Harper away and not ruin his friendship with Spencer (Harper’s brother). When Harper asks Nick to help her with dating he can’t believe his luck. As “luck” has it Spencer gets married and will be on his honeymoon for a week which allows them to be together without fear of being caught. As the week starts out Nick can’t believe his luck he finally gets to be with the one person who has consumed his thoughts for months. As the dating lessons start the banter continues you start to see the chemistry they have. When the relationship turns physical you can see Nick start to change and become totally focused on Harper Harper has been a fixture in Nick’s life since high school and she has been there to help him out of many situations as his wingman. Nick is a naughty cartoonist with a late night tv show and Harper a Magician who performs for private parties mainly for children. So they both have many things in common including their love of their work and they find they want the basic same things out of their lives. As the week moves on and Nick’s feelings for Harper grow deeper and dreading the end of the week when their agreement ends. He struggles to understand if Harper has the same feelings. He believes she does but he is not certain. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a refreshing read. The amount of feelings and chemistry the characters have was nice for a change of pace. Lauren has again delivered the right balance of fun, romance and sex. PLEASE READ

Yup, you guessed it they don’t call him Mister O for nothing. So who is this Mister O? Well, Mister O is Nick Hammer. If that name sounds familiar then you probably have met him in Big Rock but if not don’t worry you will really get to know Nick and trust me you would want to get to know him. Nick is sexy, sweet, and oh so dreamy. As a well known cartoonist aka Mister O on late night cable, Nick has made a name for himself. He has a legion of fans and of course, the ladies love him. But there is one woman that Nick can’t have. His best friend’s sister, Harper Holiday. That is until she ask him how to get a man. What started off as lessons turns into something more. So will Mister O be hammering his way into Harper’s heart and more? I guess the only way to find out if Nick really has super power is to read Mister O. So yeah, I think it’s already given that I LOVE this book. How could I not when Lauren Blakely continues to write a smart romance that was fun and outrageously sexy. With Ms. Blakely knack for smart sassy and sexy romance, she brings Nick and Harper’s character to life. She allowed her readers to experience everything from the awkward moments to even those steamy moments that will have you blushing and making sure no one is around while you read this book. So if you are looking for a romance that will have you begging for more Mister O then I highly recommend you give this book a try. Super Fun and Sexy!!!

Oh, Mister O......I couldn't seem to get enough!!! Lauren Blakely once again hit a homerun with this book. We first got a glimpse of Nick and Harper's interactions in Big Rock. In Mister O, we get it all and boy is it delicious! Nick and Harper have insane chemistry and their witty banter is very entertaining. Blakely gives her readers some truly LOL moments, creating a story that is not only funny but deeply satisfying. This is a friends-to-lovers romance that also falls into the forbidden romance category since Harper's brother Spencer is Nick's best friend. He's been warned about staying away from her but nothing can keep these two apart. Under the guise of needing dating advice, Harper and Nick start spending more and more time together. It's not long before the heat is turned up and these two begin burning up the sheets. As with all of Blakely's stories, Mister O is insanely panty-melting hot! Told from Nick's POV, we see him struggle with his feelings, wondering if Harper feels the same. Will they fall in love? Do they both feel the same? Will Spencer find out about their "arrangement" and if so, how will he handle it? Readers will be rewarded with answers to all of these questions and more by the end of the book. Mister O is wildly fun and sexy and will leave you with a big smile on your face. This book is 5 stars all the way. Lauren Blakely truly can do no wrong! I can't wait to get my hands on Well Hung next, Nick's brother Wyatt's book. If Big Rock and Mister O are any indication, Well Hung is going to be just as amazing!

Lauren does it again from the very first page of this male POV ROM-COM story and I was laughing our loud ! This is about Nick a cartonist and his best friend sister magician , Harper. Their friends and have known each other since high school when Nick and Spencer ( her brother from Big Rock ) were seniors and Harper was a freshman. They play a joke on Spencer about them going out and that gets both of their minds going in a lustfilled direction the next few times they see each other and even times when they don’t see each other they head righ to -#NaughtyThoughtTown .
